Several over the counter medications have been developed over the years to help relieve allergy symptoms. But the many my family has tried have left us all groggy or just plain tired. While it is nice to take a nap sometimes, it doesn't always fit into our busy schedules. I was also concerned about giving my young children allergy medicine where some of the time, I couldn't even interpret the ingredients on the box. I knew that there had to be something better out there.
That's when, after many hours of searching, I found a new allergy product that has been on the market a fairly short period of time, but with impressive results. This new product is a pre-histamine product that serves to regulate the amount of histamines the body makes. When you have an allergy attack, your body is actually overreacting to a substance that most would have no problems with. When you're allergic to said substance sneezing, watery eyes, and a runny nose commence leaving you miserable.
Pre-histamines work to prevent an allergy attack from ever occurring in the first place. Since the histamines are what cause the allergic symptoms, it only makes sense to stop the over-release of them before they get out of hand. Also, this pre-histamine product that I was looking at is packed with the vitamin B12, helping to boost the immune system and help it to function much stronger when an allergen is present in the future. As far as I was concerned, this was our family's new defense in the fight against allergies. I think we might just win the battle this year.
